This exciting lesson will help race enthusiasts prepare for their watch parties by showing them how to prepare party plates, pork tenderloin sliders, pimento cheese and the perfect mint juleps. Chef Cherry Madole will lead this demo and participants must be 21 or older to participate.

May 4: 4th Annual We Give a RAM Kentucky Derby Party
Pleasant Hill
Taking place at Copper Creek Golf Club, the 4th Annual We Give a RAM Kentucky Derby Party is a fundraising event in Pleasant Hill kicking off at 5 p.m. This thrilling evening will feature Derby-inspired fun, including a cocktail hour (with mint juleps, Kentuckitinis and Old Fashioneds), silent auctions, photo ops, lawn games, karaoke, a hat parade and more. Proceeds from this Kentucky Derby event in Iowa will benefit Swerve Outreach, a nonprofit aiding local children with food and educational resources.
