The Outside Scoop
With some of the most unique ice cream flavors in Iowa, The Outside Scoop is a cute and nostalgic ice cream food truck in Des Moines. The spot is reminiscent of summers spent chasing the ice cream truck as a child. The all-pink shop offers an eccentric lineup of flavor combinations, with current offerings including goat cheese and roasted cherry, Elvis’ Peanut Butter Banana Bacon, Lucky Charms and much more. Each scoop is created with fresh, seasonal ingredients and is scratch made. Due to harsh winter conditions, the truck’s location is everchanging and is only open from March through October.
