CATS the Musical

Andrew Lloyd Webber’s record-breaking musical extravaganza CATS, which has enthralled audiences in over 30 countries and 15 languages, is coming to the Des Moines Civic Center on multiple occasions throughout the first week of January. 

Winner of seven Tony Awards, including best musical, CATS recounts the tale of one enchanted evening when an exceptional tribe of cats gathers for its annual ball to celebrate and choose which cat will be reincarnated. With its beautiful score, which includes “Memory,” one of the most popular songs in musical theater history, audiences are rediscovering this well-loved production. However, since CATS has been updated for a newer generation of viewers, guests can look forward to all-new lighting and sound designs to really amplify the atmosphere of the show. 

Ticket prices range from $40 to 125, depending on the location.
