Residents of Atkins and surrounding Iowa communities have a new local restaurant to enjoy: Textile TapHaus. Textile TapHaus opened May 2 and is the third installment under the Textile brand, after Textile Brewing Company in Dyersville and The Corner Taproom in Cascade.
Preston Geerts is the manager of Textile TapHaus, a satellite taproom of Textile Brewing Company in Dyersville. Textile TapHaus is located in a newly-renovated building in Downtown Atkins, with 24 taps of local Iowa craft beers and ciders and famous massive soft pretzels on its menu.
