Big Grove Brewpub, located in Solon, is an extension of Big Grove Brewery in Iowa City. The brewpub menu specializes in “classic, seasonal Iowa dishes, with a flair for the adventurous.”

Doug Goettsch is the co-founder and director of hospitality at the ever-expanding Big Grove Brewery. “What started off as a desire to have the best brewpub in Iowa morphed in to one of the largest breweries in the state.”
Big Grove Brewery to Open in Des Moines
With two successful locations already under its belt (one in Solon and the other in Iowa City), Big Grove Brewery has announced its newest brewery and taproom is slated to open in Des Moines in 2022. The project will be located on the eastern side of the Crescent Chevrolet Building.
