We are barely in spring but daydreaming about summer, thanks to the upcoming 13th-annual Iowa Brewers Guild’s Iowa Craft Brew Festival. The adored annual event is set to take place at Water Works Park, Lauridsen Amphitheater in Des Moines on June 3.
Tickets are on the sale for the highly anticipated, 21-and-over 13th-annual Iowa Brewers Guild’s Iowa Craft Brew Festival, being held June 3–rain or shine–at Water Works Park, Lauridsen Amphitheater in Des Moines. Event guests can expect to enjoy unlimited samples of Iowa craft beer and cider, entertainment from The Sheet, local food trucks and much more.
More than 75 local breweries–serving 300-plus sips–are slated to take part from all areas of Iowa, including Big Grove Brewery, Confluence Brewing Co., Iowa Brewing Co., Lion Bridge Brewing, Twin Span Brewing and many more. The food truck lineup currently includes What the Fries, Es Tas Food, Charlotte’s Kitchen and many others.
The Iowa Brewers Guild, which is made up of brewery, cidery and meadery members, was formed to “to unify craft brewing professionals, promote Iowa beer and advocate for the industry’s growth.” In fact, Iowa is home to more than 115 craft brewing operations found in in 76 Iowa communities.
Tickets for the Iowa Craft Brew Festival are currently on sale. VIP tickets include entrance into the festival one hour early for specialty beer offerings for $65; general admission tickets are $50; and designated driver tickets are $10.
