June Proclaimed Iowa Craft Beer Month

With more than 115 breweries and 35-plus years of craft brewing, Iowa has long been a destination for craft-beer lovers. And June has been officially named Iowa Craft Beer Month! Here’s how to celebrate.

On Saturday, June 4, beer lovers are invited to taste craft beer, cider, kombucha, hop water and more from 75-plus Iowa craft producers during the Iowa Craft Brew Festival at Lauridsen Amphitheater at Water Works Park.

Each ticket purchased to the event includes unlimited sampling from 1 to 4 p.m. Plus, event-goers will enjoy live music from The Sheet, food trucks, free parking and plenty of shade. Feel free to bring your own chairs and blankets, as well as a water bottle (there will be water stations throughout the park for refilling). Plus, a bike valet will be provided courtesy of the Iowa Bicycle Collective.

General admission is $45; designated driver tickets are $5.
