Through Oct. 31, Downtown Farmers’ Market fans can get their fill of farm-fresh goods via the new Drive-Through Bite-Size Market. Customers can pre-order produce, meat, eggs, cheese, artisan food items, baked goods, flowers and more through the Drive-Through Online Marketplace and can pick up their items the following Saturday.

Presented by UnityPoint Health — Des Moines, the Drive-Through Bite-Size Market will take place each Saturday from 8 to 11 a.m. at the Iowa State Capitol complex parking lot (E. 13th and E. Grand Avenue in Downtown Des Moines). In addition to pre-ordering goods–like produce, meat, eggs and more–through the online marketplace, customers can also purchase items on-site but must remain in their vehicles.

Interested shoppers should check the online marketplace each week to view the list of drive-through vendors that will be on-site each Saturday. Pre-orders must be placed by 6 p.m. on Thursdays in order to pick up on Saturday.
