With two successful locations already under its belt (one in Solon and the other in Iowa City), Big Grove Brewery has announced its newest brewery and taproom is slated to open in Des Moines in 2022. The project will be located on the eastern side of the Crescent Chevrolet Building as part of the Ingersoll corridor, which is scheduled to be an “eatertainment venue.”
With this fresh opening, Big Grove will continue to contribute to the already-thriving Des Moines craft beer scene, offering a full range of styles in its 15-barrel brewery. Each pour will have an eye on quality and freshness, as seen with the brand’s award-winning Easy Eddy Hazy IPA. Food-wise, diners can enjoy different types of vibrant fare, with vegan and gluten-friendly options, to boot.
Big Grove will set itself apart with its unique hybrid model of service. In addition to a large full-service section, diners can also choose to sit in the self-service section that is flexible for large parties or those who wish to mix and mingle beyond their tables. Plus, families dining with kiddos will feel welcomed at Des Moines’ Big Grove, offering ample place to play while parents enjoy their meal.
And the news keeps getting better: come 2023, Big Grove even plans to open a Cedar Rapids location!
