“Take a Bite” is an award-winning 3-day food experience that features sampling, hands-on activities and events, and special dinners that will take place from April 8 to April 10.
Voted the Outstanding new event by the Iowa Tourism Commission in 2019, this food festival features special dining experiences like the Vintners Dinner at the Ox Yoke that pairs a specially selected menu with expertly selected wines and the Take A Bite Sampling Stroll, an activity that requires a passport from the Amana Visitors Center. Buy your passport for $5 and visit specific businesses for food and beverage samples. Complete your passport and return it to the Visitors Center – the first 200 to complete and return theirs will receive an Amana Colonies Stein!
