Holiday Hoopla Kick-Off

Come celebrate the beginning of the Grand Holiday Hoopla with the shops in downtown Cedar Falls as Santa makes his grand entrance and launches a month full of festivities. Hoopla happenings will be held from Nov. 25 until Dec. 22.
The opening night of this festival will kick things off with Santa’s supposedly best arrival yet. Prior to joining Santa after his arrival and their enchanted march to switch on the sculpture tree to watch the fireworks over the Cedar River, Mrs. Claus will be at the workshop visiting with the children. And after meeting the man in charge, guests can explore the luminescent heart and soul of downtown Cedar Falls. With so many choices for food, shopping and entertainment the choices are endless. Then, join the party at the River Place Plaza for live musical entertainment after Christmas gift shopping and dining in the Cedar Falls Downtown District.
